Here are some of the biggest highlights in sport this week, with action taking place across the UK and globally.


Monday Night Football

The week kicks off under the lights as Everton host Manchester United in a huge Monday night clash. Two historic sides looking to build momentum as the football calendar heats up.

Man U are looking for a top 4 finish to qualify for the Champions League, winning 4 of their last 5 games, whilst Everton sit 9th in the Premier League table at the moment.


The Women’s FA Cup 5th Round also features London City Lionesses taking on Tottenham Hotspur Women, with a place in the next round at stake.


European Football Nights – Champions League First Round

Midweek brings the start of the UEFA Champions League knockout phase, with huge first-leg clashes taking centre stage:

  • PSG 3-2 Galatasaray

  • Galatasaray beat Juventus away 5-2

  • Real Madrid 1 Benfica 0

  • Dortmund 2-0

  • Newcastle 6-0 Qarabag FK

  • Leverkusen 2-0 Olympiacos

  • Atletico Madrid 3-3 Club Brugge

  • Bodo/Glimt 3-1 Inter


The UEFA Europa League and Europa Conference League are also back in action, with Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest aiming to secure wins and book their place in the next round.


⚽ Midweek Football Across the Pyramid

It’s another busy schedule across England with the Championship, League One, League Two and the National League all in action throughout the week as promotion pushes and relegation battles continue to take shape.

Championship – Top of the Table:

  • Coventry – 65 points

  • Middlesbrough – 62 points

  • Millwall – 56 points

Championship – Bottom of the Table:

  • Leicester – 33 points

  • Oxford United – 29 points

  • Sheffield Wednesday – already relegated, the first time in football history a team has been confirmed relegated as early as February


League One – Top of the Table:

  • Cardiff – 69 points

  • Lincoln City – 68 points

  • Bolton – 58 points

League One – Bottom of the Table:

  • Northampton – 34 points

  • Rotherham – 31 points

  • Port Vale – 23 points


With promotion battles and relegation scraps heating up across multiple divisions, fans have plenty to follow as the season reaches a decisive stage.


Premier League of Darts

Night Four heads to Belfast in the Premier League of Darts, with three different winners across the opening weeks. Night winners so far:

  • Michael van Gerwen (Night 1)

  • Gerwyn Price (Night 2)

  • Jonny Clayton (Night 3)


Yesterday, Gian van Geen hit a nine darter at the Poland Open but couldn’t get past teenage sensation Luke Littler. One question remains: when will the Littler generation take their first Premier League night win?


Weekend Sport
Football returns across all levels this weekend, from grassroots rivalries to Premier League showdowns.

Premiership Rugby continues in full swing as Northampton Saints top the table on 43 points, with Bath Rugby close behind on 41 points. The race for the play offs is heating up at the top of the league.


Meanwhile, one of British sport’s most historic traditions returns as University of Oxford face University of Cambridgein the annual Varsity Match:

  • First played in 1872
